Is Diabetes Linked To Nutrition?

Diabetes is arguably the condition most strongly associated with nutrition. Diet not only influences the development of diabetes but also plays a key role in its management. Due to this crucial link, scientists have thoroughly investigated the potential of nutritional supplements in managing the disease. Their findings indicate that a variety of nutrients—including vitamins like vitamin C and the B-complex group, minerals such as chromium, and medicinal herbs like Gymnema sylvestre—can naturally, safely, and effectively reduce blood sugar levels and help guard against diabetes-related complications. Even more promising is that these nutrients can be combined into scientifically formulated supplements designed to work together for enhanced benefits.

If left poorly managed over time, diabetes mellitus can result in serious health issues, including:
